Communication & Diffusion in Cultural & Environmental Heritage Research

The Human Development Research Division of the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) organizes A Panel on Communication, Diffusion and Information in Research Relating to Cultural and Environmental Heritage, 29-31 May & 1 June 2017 as part of the 2nd Annual International Symposium on Culture.

Panel content brings together experimental sciences and humanistic sciences and, therefore, researchers and scientists, each with their own experience, competence and educational background: interdisciplinarity. This means going beyond national confines and dealing with countries possessing different economies and atavism: internationalization. Study in the cultural and environmental heritage sector must involve not only the protection of cultural heritage and human safeguard, involving the system: artifact-environment-biota, but also the importance of the business world of culture at the basis of its valorization: management covering economics, law, communication and diffusion.

Fee structure information is available on http://www.atiner.gr/fees.

Special arrangements will be made with a local hotel for a limited number of rooms at a special conference rate. In addition, a number of special events will be organized: A Greek night of entertainment with dinner, a special one-day cruise to selected Greek islands, an archaeological tour of Athens and a one-day visit to Delphi. Details of the social program are available here.
