Director - Science Gallery, Dublin

Trinity College Dublin is seeking a Director for Science Gallery, its flagship public engagement space with the mission to ignite creativity and discovery where science and art collide.

Located in Trinity's Naughton Institute on Pearse Street in central Dublin, Science Gallery Dublin has welcomed over 2.2 million visitors to changing exhibitions, events and education programmes since opening in 2008.

An outstanding individual is required to provide a strong cultural leadership role for Science Gallery Dublin. The successful candidate will have a successful track record in leadership of a gallery/ museum/ science centre or related organisation as a successful self-sustaining enterprise as well as a strong background in gallery/ centre management with prior success in the design and delivery of innovative exhibition and education programmes and promotional activities

Appointment will be made on the appropriate point of the Senior Administrative Officer 2 salary scale.
